Membership Application

This page is for applying as an HTBC member. It is one step of the registration. After the application is received, send payment. Then, track the membership status on the member-list page.

Pre-registration for the 2024-2025 season will open shortly for previous and legacy HTBC members. General registration for the public will open at the end of October after pre-registration is complete.

Please note that this year we will NOT be accepting any guests. This is to make sure that all of our members get equal and fair playing time.

Membership Breakdown

Basic Membership will give you access to play recreational badminton in the main cafetorium gym from 9am-3pm beginning September 8th 2024 to June 8th 2025. Our schedule is listed on the schedule page and our play system is listed on the Play System page. OCSB has the right to change/modify the permit. In other words, it's possible one of the Sundays might be cancelled. We will make sure to communicate any cancellations to you in a timely manner.
Coaching classes led by Devon Hamilton will be held in the wooden-floored gym every Sunday, and classes are 1-hour time slots starting from 9am-2pm split between age groups. An advanced class is available (all ages welcome) at the 9am-10am time slot. Spots in each class are limited! This is to ensure that all of our students get equal coaching opportunity.
*NOTE: Coaching Programs do not include a Basic Membership. Coaching and Basic Memberships must be purchased separately.

Basic Membership

$200/member

Full access to Main Cafetorium Gym for every Sunday session from 9am - 3pm

Plastic birdies/shuttles provided (Yellow Yonex Mavis 300)

Christmas and End of Year Party

Memberships are non-transferrable and non-refundable

1 HOUR OF DEDICATED COACHING FROM COACH DEVIN AND TEAM:

Squirtle Class - 9am-10am (Grade 4-6):

$200/member

Bulbasaur Class - 10am-11am (Grade 7-9):

$250/member

Charmander Class - 11am-12pm (Grade 10-12):

$250/member

Pikachu Class - 1pm-2pm (Adult 18+):

$300/member

Mewtwo Class - 9am-10am (ADVANCED OPEN AGE):

$500/member

Memberships and coaching are non-transferrable and non-refundable

Membership for the 2024-2025 will open to NEW members on November 1st 2024. Priority will be given to current and legacy members.
